The splitter is so light weight (feels fragile) and small that it really can't be used to split wood.

Thought this would be useful for a gift to my aging father to keep him from swinging a axe. you couldn't even use this to make kindling it's to damn small! and the add shows it as being larger.
size is a joke. Small. flimsy. Would return if possible
